In 2017, my fiction won the New Voices Award in the 2022 Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize, and has been shortlisted for the Bath Novel Award. I graduated with Distinction from the Creative Writing MA at Bath Spa University, and I'm currently working towards a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of St Andrews.
I have a decade of editorial and copywriting experience, working with clients such as Hodder & Stoughton, HarperCollins, Faber & Faber, Juilliard and Ericsson. For the past six years, I have worked as an editor for various literary consultancies.
My 35mm photographic work centres around the landscape and the built environent, using bright, natural light, dramatic framing and close detail to defamiliarise the world around us. My photographs have been published in Lodestars Anthology, F-Stop Magazine, Fraction Magazine, WerkHaus Zine and Rüm, and exhibited in Blank Wall Gallery, Athens, and The Glasgow Gallery of Photography. My prints are available online and from AGITATE, Edinburgh.
